Pooling wisdom and discussing for improving the reliability, creating new growth driver for the "quality revolution". From August 20 to 21, the 2019 (32nd) National Academic Seminar of Machinery Industry Reliability Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Academic Seminar) was held in Guangzhou, which was sponsored by the Reliability Engineering Branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and hosted by Guangzhou GRG Metrology & Test Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GRG Test). With the theme of "Strategic Core of Reliability 'Quality Revolution'", nearly 30 leaders, academicians and experts from reliability fields such as government departments, industry organizations, well-known universities, scientific research institutes attended this conference. The main venue was set up on the conference, focusing on the national strategic industry to share the current topics of reliability. During the same period, the sub-forums were organized and a series of industry-university-research activities were carried out, attracting more than 200 representatives from more than 30 well-known universities, scientific research institutions, production enterprises and media. It has created a high-standard and high-level academic seminar.

Meeting with distinguished young scholars to discuss disciplinary innovation and technology application
Young scholars are the backbone force of reliability academic research and discipline development. Therefore, academic seminar with high-standard can also attract the attention and participation of many young scholars in the field of reliability. 86 academic papers were received at the conference, covering various fields of industries such as the basic theories and methods of mechanical reliability, bearings, wind turbine blades, navigation satellites, vehicles and components, ships, rail transit, machine tools, etc. More than 30 young scholars from the field of reliability technology carried out various paper lectures at the two sub-venues of "Reliability Design Analysis, Optimization and Simulation" and "Reliability Test Technology, Risk Failure Analysis and Health Detection" set up on August 21, adding another "technical landscape" to this academic conference. Finally, 6 excellent papers were selected and commended at the Academic Seminar, which further mobilizes and stimulates the enthusiasm and creativity of young scholars in the field of reliability research, creating a good atmosphere for promoting academic research, continuous innovation and more research results at high level.
