3. Test of electronic equipment of the civil aviation airplane after modification
The T-PED test is conducted to evaluate if the intentional or unintentional electromagnetic radiation emitted by the carry-on portable electronic equipment of passengers will lead electromagnetic interference to civil airplane communication after the modification of the electronic equipment. EMC laboratory of GRG Test covers the requirements of RTCA DO-363 Guideline for Tolerance Development of Portable Electronic Device (PED) in Civil Airplane and meets its specified front door coupling test and rear door coupling test.
